Sewing techniques will be taught by hand as well as on the machine. Once students understand the basics we will introduce pattern and fabric selection and they will learn to follow pattern layout and assembly instructions. Both machine and hand sewing techniques will be used as students assemble their projects. For this session, each student has the option to design and make their Halloween costumes!
Class takes place in the historic Northrup King Building in NE Minneapolis on the 2nd floor, #211. Classes are taught by designer Kaja Foat
- Cost: $125 + $35 supplies
- BYO sewing machine. Estate sales, thrift stores, and family/ friends are great resources for good machines.
